Jazmines' Story

Hi, I'm Jazmine. I started using p when I was 15. I am now 25. It started off with smoking, then when I turned 17 I fell pregnant and quit meth. When my daughter turned one I had three deaths in 3 weeks and the only thing that was there to block out my pain was a needle with meth in it. I'd never used needles before. I got my friend to blast me and I was hooked instantly.

I lost my daughter 7 months later and then got myself into rehab. After rehab I got my girl back in my care and I was clean for a lil bit and then started using IV ritalin and meth as well. I couldn't stop. I'd cry while making my hit every day begging God to help me, and a couple months later I lost my daughter for the second time. I quit meth 2.5 years ago and have been off pharmaceutical pills from my doctor like temazepam and valium since March 10th.

The thing that's helped me is going to Narcotics Anonymous groups and also this addiction program at a local church. I've finally accepted Jesus as my lord and savior once again, and now I have purpose in life. 165 days clean, have my daughter back with me and I'm never going back!
