Desire

Cold as ice, hot as fire It's within all of us, it's called desire

We have the drive to be where we are

Sober living can take you so far

Don't let that desire start to fade or slip

Cling to what's important, don't lose that grip

You know what's truly important since the haze isn't there

You know your values and about what you care

Take each day as it comes, be thankful you're sober

Be proud of yourself and the new leaf you've turned over

Start each day remembering what burns in your soul

Keep it in the front of your mind and stay in control

Keep your emotions in check, don't be consumed by the fire

And always remember what you truly desire
